The formation of ice crystals in fuel tanks can block the aircraft's fuel line or filter, causing engine failure. It cannot be extracted because it does not exist as particulate water. When an aircraft rises to flight altitude, the fuel cools and loses its capacity to retain dissolved water, which separates out as discrete water that can form into ice crystals or remain as a super-cooled liquid. Use with fuel flow of 40-55 GPM. 1. Carefully press and twist (with clip assembly) into the valve on top of the can. 2. Remove and dispose of red safety tab on top of trigger assembly. 3. Place clip with tubing into fuel nozzle. 4. To start additive flow, squeeze trigger and continue holding during fueling. To stop flow, simply release the trigger and tilt can to the side to clear product from the tube. 5. Hold can upright and start flow after refueling begins and stop flow a moment before refueling ends. Caution: Assure that Prist Hi-Flash Hi-Flo fuel additive is directed into and blends with flowing fuel from refueling nozzle. Do not allow concentrated additive to contact coated interior of fuel tank or coated surface of aircraft.
